Latex Care

Dressing

  • Dust the inside of the garment with talcum powder to prevent sticking.
  • For tight pieces: Use a thin layer of dressing aid or shine spray to make it easier to put on.
  • Use a shine spray to give the latex a glossy finish.

Cleaning

  • Soak the latex in lukewarm water with a bit of latex cleaner.
  • Hang it up and let it air dry.
  • Once dry, dust the latex with talcum powder.
  • Store in a cool, dark, and dry place, ideally in a plastic bag on a non-metallic hanger.

Caution

  • Do not use oil-based lubricants, as they can dissolve the seams.
Avoid sharp objects and jewelry to prevent tears.
Avoid contact with metal (especially copper, brass, bronze) to prevent staining.
  • Store light-colored latex clothing separately to avoid discoloration.
  • Wrap metal parts like zippers in tissue paper.
  • Protect from sun and intense heat to avoid discoloration and UV damage.

Silky Latex

Extended delivery times +2-3 weeks

Silky Latex is a special surface treatment that reduces the natural stickiness of latex and offers various benefits:

  • Easy dressing: The smooth surface allows the material to glide gently over the skin, making it possible to put on without talcum powder or silicone oil as an aid.
  • Comfort: Hair won’t get caught, and multiple layers of latex glide effortlessly over each other.
  • Scratch-free: The material does not snag or cause scratches when worn with other garments.
  • Allergy-friendly: Silky Latex is suitable for people with latex allergies, as the treated surface causes less skin irritation. Drying time is reduced to a few minutes, and the material can easily be machine washed and dried.
